The Division of International Studies provides students with an interdisciplinary education and broad set of skills that enable them to find meaningful employment in government organizations, NGOs, multinational corporations, media companies, or research institutes.
More specifically, the pedagogical objectives of the DIS are as follows:
1. To deepen students’ understanding of global issues and to nurture their abilities to think about them critically and creatively,
2. To strengthen students’ proficiency in the English language, the principal language of international business and global relations, and
3. To prepare students from across the nation and around the world for positions of leadership in national and international organizations and businesses.
